Quake Live [beta] – Quake in your browser !!!!

It’s been a number of years since I played any of the games in the Quake series, mainly because I don’t get the time these days and also because I became obsessed with the Call Of Duty Series on the 360 and have since played little else.

That said, here’s a bit of welcome news for those who still are still frag hungry for quake.
ID have launched Quake Live, a browser version of their Quake game, unfortunately it’s only for windows based machines with Mac and Linux to follow shortly, but it’s a start and potentially a snapshot of things to come ion the world of gaming.

Performance is great and there’s full bot based training and skill matching so that you end up playing against people of your level and don’t fall foul to the die hard clan players out there.
